Printmaking | Spring 2026 | Week 9

1. Bunnell Street Arts Center Plate Project

For this annual fundraiser, I designed vinyl decals to use as resists for blue underglaze on handmade white plates. These plates will be coated with a clear glaze, fired by local potters, and made available for sale as a part of Bunnell Street Arts Center’s annual event. Become a member to get the latest updates on the sale of these and many other amazing plates by local artists and community members. Special thanks to my daughter for patiently waiting while I dealt with technical challenges on these!

2. Marbling Paper with Oil Paint

Thanks to the generous use of UAA’s Sculpture Studio spray booth, I was able to make several dozen sheets of hand-marbled paper to be integrated into future collage and mixed media projects. I’ll share these when they’re fully dry: the oil paint usually takes a week or so to fully finish drying and flattening out.
