CRAFT Logo Design
CRAFT Southcentral Alaska is a collaborative, regional alliance for farmer training. They commissioned these logo design with simplicity, growth, and interconnection themes, so I focused on the cyclical nature of farming and the passing down of knowledge and experience to the next generation of farmers and residents of our beautiful state. Pioneer Peak, a prominent mountain that overlooks the Matanuska-Susitna Valley, acts as a symbol for both the original Matanuska agricultural colony in the 1930s and for the new generation of intrepid farmers who are choosing to build their lives (and our soils, food system, and economy) in this scenic area.
