After a 15 hour day of working on this puppy, it still wasn’t done, but I’ve returned to try another day. Here are the first batch of process photos; coming up next, the finished project.
Technical notes:
- Don’t settle for serger thread: that weak-sister stuff will cause chronic thread breaks and other problems. Use heavy-duty machine quilting thread and dampen your thread when you’re ready to use it, and don’t settle for turtle speed when you could be quilting on rabbit.
