Wedding Favors | Calendula Seed Packets
These seed packet designs were created with sincerest congratulations to my friends Hannah and Tabitha. The flower Calendula was chosen by the couple for a wedding favor because of its medicinal and culinary uses. I illustrated the flower using my Microsoft Surface and Pen with Adobe Illustrator, and completed the layout in Adobe InDesign.
Calendula flower is used to prevent muscle spasms, start menstrual periods, and reduce fever. It is also used for treating sore throat and mouth, menstrual cramps, cancer, and stomach and duodenal ulcers. Calendula has also been used for measles, smallpox, and jaundice.
